Albany, Willamette and Salem – a 2-day Portrait Class

Morning view of Willamette River in Albany

I’m always up early on my teaching days… this beautiful view was my reward in Albany. Nancy and Ron Terhaar put Gail Becker and I up in their garage apartment, for the 2-day Mid-Willamette Valley Portrait Workshop.

Rhody in Nancy and Ron Terhaar's garden.

Spring was blossoming in Albany, a few weeks behind usual.

Nancy and Ron’s home sits up on the high bank of the Willamette River in an older section of Albany.

Photographing around the garden is a nice way to start the day.

A very fun class, hosted by Anne Jeter.

Another perfect reward for a workshop well done… yummmm!

  1. Laura, Your blog post brought back the wonderful memories I have of our trip to Oregon. I can see the beautiful scenery and taste the “Old Fashioned.”
