Staying with Lynn and Harold Roth, I was treated to a snug home on acreage in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. The mountain goat is carved and the background is the view out the basement window.

Tall poplars and firs are common in this area of Alberta and create a natural surrounding at the Roth home.

Windows look out onto a couple of feeding areas in the side yard. The squirrels get their share.

The next morning the snow was piled up! It was hard for me to translate celsius to farenheit but zero is freezing; I know that!
